Reverend Margaret Levitt-Phillips has been a legally ordained nondenominational minister since 1994. The Wedding Bells founder has served as a wedding officiant/minister for more than 6,000 wedding ceremonies. While she conducts many of her marriage ceremonies in and around the Lansing, Grand Rapids, Ann Arbor, Brighton, Milford, Troy, Rochester, Petosky, Mackinac Island, Traverse City, Harbor Springs, Monroe, Taylor, and many other areas, she has traveled throughout so much of Michigan, and has been requested to travel outside of Michigan to perform her ministerial duties. She has experience as a funeral/memorial service minster, and she can also perform required duties for christenings, vow renewals, elopements, and more.
Reverend Margaret Levitt-Phillips once majored in English at Madonna College in Livonia, MI, but after devoting her life to ministering to others, she went back to school and received her PhD in religious humanities. As an ordained, nondenominational minister, she has devoted much of her adult life to serving as a wedding officiant/minister because it’s what she loves to do. She is devoted to the brides and grooms she works with regularly and seeks to serve them in whatever way she can. She is also open to serving as a funeral/memorial service minister and enjoys helping while being a part of christenings, vow renewals, elopements, and other ministerial services. (Sometimes they elope, for a number of reasons). Reverend Margaret believes all consenting adults of sound mind, who choose to be married with dignity and the respect they deserve, should have that right, regardless of their lifestyle.
